Each year, Main Street Elberton and other businesses host recurring events in our community.
2Morrows Creations Market
On the last Saturday of each month (all year long) come to 2Morrows Creations for an indoor / outdoor artisan market with free kids craft. You'll find arts and crafts for sale, lots of handmade goodies to browse and enjoy, and food trucks on site. 2Morrows Creations also hosts craft classes, sewing / crochet lessons, fabric and yarn for sale, and coffee shop. Located next to the Elberton Post Office.
Elberton Farmers Market
A selection of farmers market items for sale such as local farm-fresh eggs, jams, honey, bread, and vegetables. Wednesdays on the Downtown Square / Saturdays at the Farm Bureau Insurance parking lot.
☘️ Shamrock Shuffle
Downtown Elberton will be filled with music, dancing and karaoke for a family-friendly St. Patrick's Day celebration. There will be free St Patrick's Day swag and don't forget to wear green!
🐰 Community Easter Egg Hunt
A community-wide egg hunt on the downtown Elberton square. Bring your children and their easter baskets out for this fun event!
🌷 Spring Festival
Each year, we celebrate spring with a fun-filled event will feature arts and crafts, local businesses, food vendors, kids area with bouncy house, and activities for the whole family. Hosted by Main Street Elberton.
Spring Festival & Big Iron Crank Up
Every April, the City of Bowman hosts the Big Iron Crank Up in the City Park and the Spring Festival on Bowman Square. The Big Iron Crank Up features antique engines, tractors, and much more. Then, head over to the Spring Festival for food and craft vendors.
First Friday Concert Series
Come out and enjoy our concert series in Downtown Elberton to kick off the summer right. On the first friday of each summer month, we will have live music and activities on the square (May through August). This event provides an opportunity for meeting up with friends, family night, date night, family night, girls' night, or whatever the case may be. Come out to enjoy live music, outdoor dining, great shopping, and local fun on the 1st Friday of each month.
🚗 Cruise-In Car Show
Every year, Main Street Elberton hosts the Classic Car Show with Granite Bowl Blast Fireworks. Downtown Elberton Square will be packed with 100+ cool classic cars plus food trucks, bounce houses, and the firework display beginning at dusk.
🎅🏼 Christmas in July
Santa comes to visit downtown Elberton at the end of kick off back-to-school shopping season with merchant discounts,
extended hours, and photos with Santa.
September 11th Memorial Event
An event to remember those who lost their lives in September and honor those in uniform who serve today. There will be food vendors, many children's activities, and touch-a-truck experience to raise awareness for first responders on duty.
Elberton 12-County Fair
The Elberton 12-County Fair is the longest-running fair in Northeast Georgia going on 90 years. The fair brings good family fun to Elberton with midway rides, food, entertainment, 4-H barn, and more. Serves 10 northeast counties in Georgia as well as 2 counties in South Carolina, and voted "One of the 10 Great Places for Blue Ribbon County Fairs" in USA Today and "One of the Best 11 Fairs in the state of Georgia". This annual event occurs on the Tuesday before Thanksgiving, come to downtown Elberton and enjoy holiday discounts, extended shopping hours, music, food, tree lighting, pictures with Santa, and more family fun. Hosted by Main Street Elberton. .
