Located in the heart of downtown Elberton, Georgia, the Samuel Elbert Hotel is among the most prominent and historic local landmarks. Built in 1925, the hotel operated for four decades until it was converted into an office building. In 2016 the building was completely renovated and transformed into a new full-service boutique hotel. The original Tudor Revival style of the exterior has been preserved, and the interior still features the original two-toned terrazzo floors and an impressive stone fireplace.

The Samuel Elbert Hotel combines the character of a historic property with the technology and conveniences of today, plus a great view from almost every window. The luxurious 27-room getaway accommodates meetings and events, perfect for retreats or family gatherings. Guest rooms and suites are situated on three floors. Each room has its own unique character and charm enhanced by the appealing city views through the original windows of 1925.

A variety of room sizes and locations are available ranging from premium suites overlooking the public square to corner suites with multi-directional views, to sunlight-filled guest rooms facing south. Amenities include free wireless high-speed Internet and high-definition digital television throughout the property. Each room has a mini-refrigerator and Keurig coffee maker.

From the downtown location directly on the public square, you can walk to shops and restaurants, explore historic sites and monuments, or enjoy the Granite City Walking Trail just outside our back door. Our property offers free parking for guests.

The wheelchair-accessible entrance is located in the front of the building, marked handicapped parking is located in the front of the building at the main entrance, and closed caption decoder is available upon advance request.
